{"id":30641,"date":"2023-05-11T16:02:36","date_gmt":"2023-05-11T14:02:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/?post_type=rezept&#038;p=30641"},"modified":"2023-05-11T18:35:01","modified_gmt":"2023-05-11T16:35:01","slug":"shakshuka","status":"publish","type":"rezept","link":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/en\/rezept\/shakshuka\/","title":{"rendered":"Shakshuka - Oriental vegetable stew"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>You will need:<\/strong>&nbsp;Extendable grill grate<br><strong>Top heat:&nbsp;<\/strong>approx. 200-220\u00b0C<br><strong>Preheating:&nbsp;<\/strong>approx. 15 minutes<br><strong>Working hours:<\/strong>  20 minutes<br><strong>Cooking time:<\/strong> approx. 30-40 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br><\/strong>(for 4 persons)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2-3 tbsp frying oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 onion, finely diced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 garlic cloves, peeled&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 red peppers, cut into cubes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc tsp cumin, ground<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc tsp cayenne pepper, ground<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>800 g chunky tomatoes from the tin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt, pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>In addition:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 spring onions, sliced into rings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a few stalks each of fresh parsley and coriander<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat the Merklinger to approx. 200-220\u00b0C.<br><br>Heat a heavy cast-iron pan on the pull-out grill rack directly over the fire.<br><br>Heat the oil in the pan and saut\u00e9 the onion and garlic. Add the peppers and fry for a few minutes. Stir in the cumin and cayenne pepper. Add the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 20-25 minutes until creamy. Stir again and again.<br><br>Using a wooden spoon, press 4 wells into the bell pepper and tomato sauce. Crack the eggs and carefully slide them into the wells. Allow the eggs to set to the desired firmness.<br><br>Garnish the shakshuka with spring onions and parsley and coriander leaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Tip:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This dish is a real all-rounder and can be individually modified in all directions.<br><br>If you like, you can also add zucchinis or potatoes to the peppers.<br><br>Do you love cheese? Then gratinate your shakshuka at the end with feta or another cheese to your taste.<br><br>Don't want to go without meat?
