{"id":21202,"date":"2022-03-04T09:58:54","date_gmt":"2022-03-04T08:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/?post_type=rezept&#038;p=21202"},"modified":"2022-03-04T09:58:57","modified_gmt":"2022-03-04T08:58:57","slug":"mac-and-cheese-in-puff-pastry","status":"publish","type":"rezept","link":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/en\/rezept\/mac-and-cheese-im-blaetterteig\/","title":{"rendered":"Mac-and-cheese in puff pastry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>You will need:<\/strong> Firebricks\/spacer grate<br><strong>Top heat: <\/strong> approx. 220-250\u00b0C<br><strong>Preheating: <\/strong>approx. 30 minutes<br><strong>Working hours: <\/strong>35 minutes<br><strong>Cooking time: <\/strong>ca<strong>.<\/strong> 35-40 minutes<br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong> (for 4-6 persons)<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>250 g short macaroni<\/li><li>2 tablespoons butter<\/li><li>1 clove of garlic, finely chopped<\/li><li>2 tablespoons flour<\/li><li>200 ml milk<\/li><li>70 g cream cheese<\/li><li>50 g Parmesan cheese, grated<\/li><li>1\/2 bunch fresh parsley, chopped<\/li><li>Salt, pepper, nutmeg<\/li><li>150 g cheddar cheese, diced<\/li><li>1 roll of puff pastry from the chiller cabinet<\/li><li>100 g sliced bacon<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In addition:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 beaten egg<\/li><li>2 tbsp Parmesan, grated<\/li><li>2 tbsp breadcrumbs or panko<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente, drain and set aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Melt the butter in a large pan and saut\u00e9 the garlic in it. Stir in the flour and saut\u00e9 briefly over a moderate heat. Gradually pour in the milk and bring to the boil, stirring with a whisk. Allow the sauce to simmer for 5 minutes, continuing to stir. Add the cream cheese, parmesan and parsley and season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.<br><br><br>Remove the pan from the heat, mix in the macaroni and cheddar cubes and leave to cool slightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Remove the puff pastry from the fridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat the Merklinger to approx. 220-250\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roll out the puff pastry with the baking paper. Spread the bacon slices parallel to the short side, leaving a 2 cm border. Now spread the cheese noodles lengthways down the middle of the bacon. Brush the edges of the pastry all around with the egg. Fold the narrow sides over the filling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cut the dough every 4 cm along the long side and cut the <br>Lay the strips of dough overlapping towards the center. Place in a baking dish or on a baking tray with the baking paper.
