{"id":18830,"date":"2021-10-01T09:22:30","date_gmt":"2021-10-01T07:22:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/?post_type=rezept&#038;p=18830"},"modified":"2021-10-01T09:22:33","modified_gmt":"2021-10-01T07:22:33","slug":"cinnamon-buns-with-caramel-frosting","status":"publish","type":"rezept","link":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/en\/rezept\/zimtschnecken-mit-karamell-frosting\/","title":{"rendered":"Cinnamon buns with caramel frosting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br>(for 15 pieces)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In advance<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The milk should be lukewarm, all other ingredients must be at room temperature!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the yeast dough:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>250 ml lukewarm milk<\/li><li>20 g yeast\u00a0<\/li><li>1 egg (size M)<\/li><li>70 g butter\u00a0<\/li><li>70 g sugar<\/li><li>500 g wheat flour type 550<\/li><li>1 pinch of salt<\/li><li>Butter for the mold<\/li><li>Cream or coffee cream for spreading<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the filling:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>100 g soft butter<\/li><li>50 g brown sugar<\/li><li>1 tbsp cinnamon<\/li><li>1 pinch of salt<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the caramel frosting:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>60 ml cream or coffee cream<\/li><li>100 g white chocolate<\/li><li>200 g cream cheese<\/li><li>3-4 tsp caramel syrup<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour the milk into the mixing bowl of the food processor. <br>Crumble the yeast over it, leave to stand briefly and dissolve in the milk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the egg, butter, sugar, flour and salt and knead into a smooth, soft dough using the dough hook. <br>Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for approx. 1 hour until doubled in volume.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>During this time, heat the Merklinger to 220-250\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Grease a baking dish or similar with butter. Place all the ingredients for the filling in a bowl and mix well with a spoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>For the frosting, pour the cream into a small pan. Add the chocolate in pieces and heat until the chocolate has melted. Leave to cool slightly, then stir into the cream cheese with the caramel syrup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface and roll into a 5 mm thick rectangle using a rolling pin. <meta charset=\"utf-8\">(40 x 60 cm). Spread the filling evenly on top using a pastry card and roll up from the long side. Cut into 15 slices and place cut side down in the greased tin. Cover and leave to rise for a further 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Brush the cinnamon rolls with cream just before baking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the tin on the wire rack in the Merklinger oven at 220-250\u00b0C and bake the cinnamon rolls for approx. 30-35 minutes until golden brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove the dish from the Merklinger and leave to cool slightly. <br>Spread the frosting over the cinnamon buns while they are still warm and enjoy them lukewarm.<br><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zutaten(f\u00fcr 15 St\u00fcck) Vorab: Die Milch sollte lauwarm sein, alle anderen Zutaten m\u00fcssen Zimmertemperatur haben!
