{"id":18605,"date":"2021-09-17T09:04:43","date_gmt":"2021-09-17T07:04:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/?post_type=rezept&#038;p=18605"},"modified":"2021-09-17T09:04:45","modified_gmt":"2021-09-17T07:04:45","slug":"potato-cake-with-raw-polish-dippekuche","status":"publish","type":"rezept","link":"https:\/\/www.dermerklinger.de\/en\/rezept\/kartoffelkuchen-mit-rohpolnischen-dippekuche\/","title":{"rendered":"Kartoffelkuchen mit Rohpolnischen &#8222;Dippekuche&#8220;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br>(for a cast iron pan or a cake tin, 25 cm \u00d8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-d038ce93-9b22-4991-ab9e-a15b036c21ae\"><li>1.5 kg potatoes, waxy<\/li><li>1 large onion<\/li><li>1 garlic clove<\/li><li>3 tbsp chives rolls<\/li><li>3 eggs<\/li><li>Salt, pepper, nutmeg, marjoram<\/li><li>2 raw polish or metten ends<\/li><li>Butter (or clarified butter) and breadcrumbs for the mold<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat the Merklinger to approx. 230-250\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Grease the pan or mold and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><meta charset=\"utf-8\">Peel and finely dice the onion. Peel and finely chop the garlic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Wash, peel and coarsely grate the potatoes. Leave to stand briefly in a sieve over a bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Squeeze the potatoes in a sieve, drain the water (leave the starch in the bowl). Add the grated potatoes to the starch in the bowl. Add the onions, garlic and chives and mix with the eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and marjoram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour the potato mixture into the prepared tin and smooth out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cut the sausages into slices and arrange on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the pan\/mold on the wire rack and place in the <meta charset=\"utf-8\">hot <br>Bake the Merklinger at 230-250 \u00b0C for approx. 60 minutes (you can also bake the potato cake a little longer if you like it a little crispier).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong><br>It goes well with apple sauce or a herb dip. You can also bake this hearty potato cake in muffin tins. This makes a great finger food that you can also serve cold with a glass of white wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A hearty and sweet variation is the \"Stoppelfuchs\" (plum and potato casserole)<br><br><\/strong>You can make it in the same way as the potato cake with sausages.
